Hey, my name is julien and i’m a guitarist completly bilingue !
Indeed, i started to practice guitar, seultwo, with my own 2 hands, while listening psyché rock band, like pink floyd, led zeppelin, santana, hendrix or alliance ethnique for exemple…
But it’s very quickly that i discover the Funk music, the Grooooooooove music alright men…the devil rythmic, the ravageous cocot and other riff who give us the need to move our ass on the dancefloor and anywhere.
After a few years, i decided to integrated the American School of Modern Music, that explain my totaly bilinguity of course !!!
already, i falling in love with jazz music, i didn’t know this music before, and it’s just enormous ! during this 3 years i learned enormemently in this school…in fact, i understand a little bit how it works the music, and, Hey, it’s pretty cool …
since 1 year, i use my talent of guitarist in a band, this name is Mashenka (« small mary » in Russian, yes because the singer name is marie, and she is a Russian girl) and there, this is the moment to re-become serious ! the music that we play it’s a mixture of pop and jazz ! and it appears, with the comments that we have, that « ca dechire sa mere » like says the french people ! so i invited everybody to go on www.myspace.com/mashenkamusic , and i'm almost sure that you lovin it, finally i hope so…
