Massimiliano Marinacci nasce a Roma e cresce in una famiglia di musicisti: sua madre e' arpista, i suoi zii sassofonisti e suo nonno pianista e compositore. Il suo amore per la musica inizia prestissimo frequentando lo storico Teatro Regio punto di riferimento italiano della scena Hip hop dimostrando fin da giovanissimo la sua predisposizione per il freestyle e per il writing, partecipando giovanissimo anche al Contest di Genova organizzato dalla storica fanzine hip hop Al. L'incontro con l'House music avviene con l'acquisto del suo primo mix dei Masters at Work e si intitola "Freestyle Orchestra ep". Da li l'incontro con l'House music iniziando a suonare e ad organizzare party con gli amici della crew. Nel 2001 si trasferisce a Roma per iniziare a collaborare e a coltivare nuove esperienze al Bush a fianco del noto Dj Andrea Torre.
Successivamente, prosegue suonando all'Alibi, club storico della nightlife capitolina miscelando sonorita House sempre con la tradizione musicale Afro-Americana. Si è esibito anche in Sardegna (Porto Rotondo, Sassari, Oristano) partecipando agli eventi organizzati dalla nota organizzazione Areamito insieme al noto produttore italiano Dj Emix sperimentando sonorità elettroniche e minimali. A Roma continua a collaborare approdando alla one-night storica del Muccassassina al Qube, e all'Akab dove propone deep e soulful house. La sua eleganza nella selezione garage lo conduce ad esibirsi in alcune delle piu prestigiose locations capitoline: Villa Miani, Villa Dafne, Majestic, Villa Appia, Casina di Macchia Madama, Castello di Miramare, Villa Brasini e per l'esclusivo party della nota maison internazionale Fendi. L'esperienze proseguono senza sosta insieme all'incontro con la nota organizzazione di eventi Devotion club culture di Ale Artside con la quale si esibisce in numerosi clubs, La Maison, La Suite, L’Eto’, Shilling, Oasi, Maud, Tantra, Distillerie Clandestine, Saponeria, Loft, Jazz Cafe, Ex Magazzini, Dieci, Downtown, Beige, The Place dove apre il concerto di Franky and Canthina Band storica band funky-disco. Recentemente si è esibito all'interno del party privato del noto artista internazionale Pino Daniele selezionando soul, fusion music prima del live.Massimiliano Marinacci was born in Rome and grew up in a family of musical artists: his mother is a harpist, his uncles play the saxophone and his grandfather is a pianist and a composer. His love for music started very early on as he fell in love with hip hop, soul, and rap cultures.
With an ABC crew, at 18 years of age, his love and curiosity for music flow into a musical research. He bought his first mix of the Masters at Work “Freestyle Orchestra†and started offering his style in Turin at parties, with his friends. Then he moved to Rome where he collaborated and performed in Clubs, feeding his artistic and musical experiences. He was a resident DJ at Koolparty with an historical figure of Italian Clubbing, Andrea Torre. Subsequently, he worked at the console of the Alibi Club, a focal point of Roman nightlife offering selections of House along with Jazz and Afro-American cultures.
He performed in various locations in Sardinia (Porto Rotondo, Sassari, Oristano) participating in the Areamito events with Italian producer Dj Emix and experimenting with House and minimal electronics. In Rome, he continued on his quest, working at the Muccassassina one-night, at historical club The Akab, in the cave room playing deep soul full house.
His elegance in the garage selection brought him to prestigious locations in Rome: Villa Miani, Villa Dafne, Majestic, Villa Appia, Casina di Macchia Madama,Castello di Miramare, Villa Brasini and the super-exclusive party of high-fashion designer Fendi.
Along with the famous organization Devotion Club Culture of Ale Artside, he performed in a number of clubs including La Maison, La Suite, L’Eto’, Shilling, Oasi, Maud, Tantra, Distillerie Clandestine, Saponeria, Loft, Jazz Cafe, Ex Magazzini, Dieci, Downtown, The Place where he was the opener for the concert of the highly-regarded Roman group, Franky and Canthina Band.
One of his most prestigious performance sites was the EUR Convention Center terrace (Palazzo dei Congressi) before along with DJ-producer Luis Radio and Shilling where he opened the DJ set of Craig Bartlett, known for his one-night L’America di Cardiff. Recently, he contributed to a live performance of the Pavan-Marinacci Duet, built on the arrangements of US historical Jazz saxophonist John Coltrane and has worked like phonic at Jazz Festival in Rome for the development of the audio tecnicals.This summer he graduate on Sociology of Cultural Events at University of Rome. This autumn, he is resident DJ at the New king Club where is following to development his musical concept of Soul and House and Hip Hop....to be continued.
