In february 2007 I started apprenticeship as a professional drummer at DRUMMER..S FOCUS Stuttgart. "In memory of mankind" was released in early summer via Musicaz Records. In July I became a full member in AHAB.
On january 1st of 2008 I started recording the drums for the second DEAD EYED SLEEPER album "through forests of nonentities" at Iguana Studios in Freiburg, Germany with Christoph Brandes. Again I did the recording of all other instruments and vocals for this record dedicatively supported by my friend Hagen von Wittgenstein. Mix and mastering were done - of course again - by Christoph Brandes.
2009 had a nerve-wracking start due to the recording sessions of the upcoming AHAB Album "The divinity of Oceans" (out in July 2009 via Napalm records). After a flue-contaminated drum-recording-session at Jan Dehling..s CLONE TONE Studio, ALL technical problems of the recording-world turned my life as producer of this (w)rec(k)ord into a 3-month-lived-nonsleep-hell. 3 big gleams of hope: After mix and mastering at Klangschmiede Studio E in Mellrichstadt/Germany by Markus Stock the AHAB-Album sounds baldly divine!!!, and DEAD EYED SLEEPER found a professional label in SUPREME CHAOS RECORDS who will release "Through forests of nonentities" on may 15th 2009. And finally AGNER DRUMSTICKS added me to their list of endorsers. ...for an exciting collaboration to come...
