HEAVY ICE, The Massachusetts native is here to shape up this music biz. Heavy Ice is on his grind working hard 24/7 on his debut album in the studio which is yet to obviously be released. He has been writing rhymes since he was 13 years of age and been producing for more than a year. Heavy Ice is currently in Galway,Ireland now for the past 2 years, and has his studio, which, is an achievement in it self seeing that Heavy Ice is only 17! He is a hard worker and entrepreneur who has more than rapping and producing on his side.He has his own label at the age of 17 years young which is called Purple Haze Entertainment. He has recentley officially started yet another company of his, "Cártaí Rua Teo"( which literally translates to Red Cards Limited) which the main aims are to showcase Local post cards to the public! Heavy Ice's sound is a fusion of hip hop, techno, trance and electronica. Heavy Ice is producing dope tracks ranging from personal tracks about his life and struggle to hot club tracks that will get you moving, grooving and slipping and sliding. Heavy Ice is clearly a diverse character who loves to switch up the genres. He states, "Some might hate because I love hip hop and I like switching up or tweaking the tempos and beats of each song,some days I'll spit a raw hip hop track, and the next day an RnB track for the ladies. As long as I tell a story and bring the fire then no body should have a problem, and if you do, it's sad because you're wasting your time! Music is music no matter what way you look at it! Music is supposed to give you a sense of feeling or emotion, whether it be in a physical form of dance,or an emotion of happiness, sadness, and so on and so forth. Heavy Ice also has a dj on deck with him that goes by the name of Dj Asbo who is working along side him. Heavy Ice is open to work with any one who keeps it real and tells a story or who just has potential. He lives in Ireland through out the year, but during the summers you can find him some where in Massachusetts if you want to collaborate with him!
