Yo, I'm LAzee Luu, The Vietnamese Rapper that can't rap in Vietnamese, but does speak and is Vietnamese, so welcome to my music Mypsace! =]
I am a Music Artist that started rapping at the age of 15. Los Angeles was where I grew up and started. I enjoyed listening to Hip Hop music eversince I was a kid. Power106 was one of the stations that I had listened to.
Growing up and going to school was a new experience for me everyday. Most of my friends were African Americans and Latinos. It was rare that you'd find any Asians.
I never knew that much about my culture, but was always curious to find out, and so I did. I learned a lot about the History of my people and began to value it more.
I later started doing music and was in love with it. Music was my way to relax and express myself. How and why did I started doing music? Well.. this is where it should get interesting. Let me try to make this long story short..
It was a typical school day. I had got into a fight afterschool with a kid for talking trash about Vietnamese people. And yes, I did beat his ass. I then got home that day and started downloading some "Gangster" rap music, so it could fit my mood. While going through all the songs I had downloaded that day, I ran into an instrumental that I had accidently downloaded. So I decided to listen to it. Yea.. it was dope as hell. I started flowing and writing some mad lyrics outta no where. I recorded that very same day with my CS (Counter-Strike) mic. Then yea.. I had made myself a fresh track, my very first. I brought it with me to school the next day and showed it to my friends and boy were they shocked. Haha, they didnt know that I rap, but they sure liked it. So I went home that day and started downloading more Beats and writin more raps. I had my first album within 2 months. I called it "Time has come". I sold quite a few.
Well anyways summer had came.. and I was enjoyin it, kickin back with my buddies untill my pops came home one day and said that we're gonna move to a new hosue soon. At first I thought he was joking but he really wasn't. So I had a week to pack my stuff and I was outta there. I left everyone that I grew up with since pre-k without a word. But yea.. I moved down to Orange County year 2003 and started a group called "Lucky Charms Production" also known as "L.C.P." with a few emcees and yep.. I'm still rockin the mic till this day...
