Hello, My name is Ally. I just recently turned 24. I just got married to a wonderful man named Josh. He is 23 now. I love him to pieces. I just had our very first daughter about two weeks ago. Things didn't really go as planned. Giada was supposed to be born on May 3rd but she was late. I went in to be induced on May 6th, but that didn't really work. So three days later I wound up having to have a c-section. At frist I was REALLY scared. I didn't want to go through with it, but I decided that it would be best for both of us. Giada was born at 11:20 Am on Mother's Day. The best present EVER. Things didn't go as planned for me. I wound up loosing a liter and a half of blood and had to have 2 blood transfusions. All in all I was in the hospital for 6 days. I consider myself very lucky to have such a healthy beautiful daughter and I thank god everyday for her. Josh and I decided to name her Giada Bella in italian it means beautiful Jade. Lots of people think I am a little crazy because 2 days after I got out of the hospital Josh and I got married. It was really important for me to marry Josh the week my mom was out from Cali. It had been about six years since I had seen my mom and she was only able to stay a week. I really wanted her to see me get married. Even though we didn't have much time to put the wedding together it was small and beautiful. I realized that while having a big fancy wedding may have been nice, it wasn't neccessary. The only thing that mattered was that I got to tell the man that I love how much he means to me in front of all my family and friends.
Josh and I just moved into a nice 2 bedroom apt and we love it. Giada has her own room and it's finally all finished. I put up photos of the work we did. Josh and my aunt painted the room peach with light green trim. Then I put up stickers that say "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep." Those words make an arch over her crib. I am really impressed by how well the nursery turned out. I just love it.
I have Borderline Personality disorder, Bi Polar Disorder, Anxiety and depression. I am embarrased about it but I am working towds recovery. I.... used to be a self injurer but I am pleased to say that right before I got pregnant I was able to stop. I had been doing it for so long... 8 years, I never thought that I would be able to quit but I did. I am very proud of myself. I hope to be able to help others like myself. That is why I talk about it, even though for so long I was very embarrassed about it. But hey if I can show one person that IT CAN BE DONE, that it is possible to stop then I AM HAPPY.
I am very happy right now in my life. I cannot beleive that Giada is fianally here and that I am now Josh's wife. "I've got all I've waited for, and I could not ask for more."
