I still would like to meet the guys from Alkaline Trio, and there is a story that goes along with that. In the winter of 2003 when the Trio was doing their tour for Good Mourning I had a friend that worked at Vagrant Records. He was able to put a friend and myself on the guest list for a sold out show in San Francisco. I was so stoked because Alkaline is my favorite band. Several friends and myself went to the show and had a great time. After returning back to Chico the next day, I called my friend and thanked him for the tickets. This is what was said next, (My Friend) "So, did you have fun hanging out with the guys?" (Me) "What do you mean?" (My Friend) "You mean you didn’t get to hang out with the band?" (Me) "What, No?" My friend then informed me that he had set me up with two all access backstage passes to meet and hang out with the band after the show. He also then told me that the night before Matt Skiba had taken one of his Les Paul guitars and the whole band had signed it for me. To make a long story simi shorter....The chick at the ticked window screwed up and gave me the wrong tickets and my dreams of partying with Alkaline Trio went down the tubes. So that is why I still want to meet them.
