Who the F*** is Sol Jovis!?
Sol Jovis began his musical endeavors at an early age with jazz and classical. He was hugely influenced by the likes of Art Blakey, Miles Davis, Igor Stravinky, and Beethoven. It was during this time (circa 1995) in his youth whiling residing in London for some years that Sol Jovis was first exposed to electronic music. Having encountered the music of Richie Hawtin (aka Plastic Man) and Sven Vath, Sol Jovis' concepts regarding music had permanently changed. Hence, the music you hear now.
Sol Jovis is a producer of primarily techno and minimal, although the occasional foray into a sort of minimal-electro and tech-house is not uncommon. Give a listen to the above beats...and feedback is always welcome.
