Speed Shaker

About Me

Speed Shaker was formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, by Chris (guitar, vocals) as an outlet for his Ska, Reggae, and Surf sensibilities, after his departure from the influential Vancouver Ska band, Los Furios. Enlisting Rich (drums), they began writing in April 2007. Soon they were joined by Mel (Tenor Sax, Vocals), and Sean (Bass, Vocals), who is known on the local scene from his extensive performances with The Skatomatics, The Karmacanix, and The Elixxxirs. Having a fairly large repertoire under their belts, they began to perform in Vancouver with a premiere show at the Bourbon on September 29 2007.
