Based in the bustling metropolis of Wagga Wagga, The Seeing Eye Dogs formed in 2006, when Roger and Grant joined up with the remainding members of another line up. The Seeing Eye Dogs are an ordinary bunch of guys whose only goal is to deliver entertaining, well played music. Despite humble beginnings, our combined influences have let us broaden our horizons, and we play a mixture of blues, soul and "classic" rock. Our music is generally about fun and enjoyment, we rehearse to deliver you polished performances that will leave you walking out the door having had a great time! At the end of the gig no longer do we hear "go home", these days it's "more", "Cold Chisel", "AC/DC", "Wow you guys are great" (We remain a bit dubious about the middle 2 but hey beware of what you ask for fans and followers). We are proud to announce that we won the inaugral 2007 Wagga Wagga Bidgee Blues Club "Performer of the Year" competition. We also made an appearance in the Sydney Blues Society Performer of the Year Competition as well and the emcee later said "You guys really cooked and opened a few eyes (hehehe) in the big smoke." In 2007 we also spent some time in the studio and we're in the middle of compiling an EP which it sadly seems will not have a release date. We are proud to use the following equipment: Fender, Roland, Yamaha, Tomkins, Ernie Ball Music Man, David Eden, Pearl, Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian, UFIP and Shure products, but we are not company endorsees.
