For those that know me, hello. For those that don't....
My name's Stuart, and I'm in a band called English Electric. Last year I organized a little tour of the South-West for our band. It was surprisingly difficult to arrange, (because venues want crowds, and crowds don't flock to band's they have never heard of!) but one of the most fulfilling weeks of my life, (despite injury). In the year that followed, I found band's from all over Britain have this problem. So here's the ridiculously simple idea...I want to establish, a nationwide network of bands and venues, setting up an exchange scheme, allowing bands to roam around and play to new crowds in new towns/citys. Easy really. I don't care if people go via myself, or use this page to find like minded bands in other areas and arrange stuff. It's all free, I just wanna do something music related when I'm not gigging.Stu.xxxThat was the plan, but it cost a lot of time, effort, headaches and (above all) money I didn't have. Idealism is great if you don't take it too seriously.
