About Me


Prodigal Soldiers is a ministry of two anointed men of God, Rick Legardy and Joseph Bush, Jr., both of whom are cousins. They founded the ministry in 1995 when they started rapping together. Their desire is to share the love of God to today’s generation. Their training in ministry started at Agape’ Love Center under the leadership of Pastors Johnnie and Angela Davis.Agape’ Love Center is where Rick Legardy is also an elder and the full-time Youth Pastor of Youth Empowered And Holy (Y.E.A.H.) and has been serving in ministry for fourteen years. He has traveled extensively as a motivational speaker/rapper. Pastor Rick has three years of experience in youth evangelism. He has been happily married for eleven years to Tanja. They are blessed with six wonderful children: Skylar, Whitney, Serenity, Nia, Gerard, and Savon.Joseph Bush, Jr. is an instructor of Y.E.A.H. at Agape’ Love Center and a distinguished author. He is married to Constance. They have also been blessed with six beautiful children: Christopher, Jodie, Joseph, Braylon, Patrick, and Cailah. Joseph also has an evangelistic call on his life which leads him to minister to youth throughout the nation.

Sounds Like:We are about to see a shift in the world of music. As in times past, the world's society is controlled on the atmosphere that is set by its artists. We are that generation of artist of the modern day church that will cause the secular to take notice of the movement and respect the messengers as we do the uncompromising Word of God. Whether it be through rap, poetry,etc. The gift will always be a reflection of the giver. not the other way around. So many lives lie in the balance for a new voice to lead them from darkness to light, from bondage to freedom. This is the call for the manifestations of the sons. And when sonship is identified, soldiers are realized. That's the basis for the movement of Death Before Dishonor.
