Hi. I'm Andy. I'm crew on a private yacht.
Nobody seems to understand exactly what that means so I thought I would take a minute to clarify. NO, I do not work on a cruise ship. It is a private yacht owned by an insanely rich mother f*cker. The boat is much like a 5 star hotel, but smaller. And moveable. Oh, it floats too - usually - hopefully? I travel all over the world and rub arms with the rich and famous. Hang out on exotic islands you only see and hear about on TV. I work on my tan daily, drink margarita's and bloody mary's all day... everyday. We swim with colorful fish, dive for treasures, go wakeboarding, and jet-skiing... and occasionally venture off the boat to the beach. Sometimes I pick up a broom and sweep up the decks, but life is really just one big fat flippin' party. Did I mention that I actually get paid for this? It's pretty much everything you probably thought it would be. I wish. Please sense the sarcasm. Really. :)
When I am not traveling abroad, I live with my best friend, Nick. I bike daily and can never get enough of it. I enjoy anything outdoors, boating, snowboarding, wake-boarding, live rock shows... I love traveling, which is why I do what I do. I have been to more countries than I can count, I should really keep a list somewhere. I have two younger sisters, one just married and one just had a baby, I have been blessed with an amazing family and great group of friends.
