I have been playing the drum set just shy of 10 years. But I think I’ve always been a drummer. I have come to this conclusion because while I strive to be proficient in other areas of life, the only time I feel completely at home is when I am behind the drums, or at the least studying that which applies to them. This being said, yes, I am a drum dork. I love everything having to do with percussion, from tuning my drums to the rhythmic concepts I find myself lost within.I could devote the rest of my days to the pocket.I am obsessed with self-improvement. In terms of musicianship, I strive to be sensitive and in the moment. Due to my upbringing I am an organized and responsible person. I am young, but focused.The bottom line is I want to play as much music as possible with as many people as possible.I play drums in bands called Dragonzord, Broken Trees, and the Dirk Quinn Band. I teach music. I ooze sarcasm. Rock 'n roll McDonalds, yo.
