Ricardo Madureira (Nheka) was born in 1981 in a small town in the center of Portugal. He started listening to electronic music (Techno / House) and going partying when he was 14. In 1998, he went for the first time to a psychedelic-trance party and listened to Dj Bim at Expo98 in Lisbon. He loved it! In 1998 he started djing House music on vinyl with a friend, DJ Swiss, and started playing at clubs and doing warm up sets for friends. But Psy-trance became his passion, and in 2001 he started playing at some small parties and free parties and in 2004 joined a German label called "Optik&Melody", where he worked as a dj and promoter for two years. Now Nheka plays for Vision Records (South Africa) and As Records (Israel) since 2008. During this time, he's played at parties, clubs and festivals across Portugal with artists like Scam, Tickets, Technodrome, Winter Demon, Geko, Battlegoats, Menog, Audialize, Khopat, Tryambaka, Sick Addiction, D-Maniac and many more. Recently Nheka has created Mindology Productions, a new Portuguese promoter and artist booking.
