History
Working Mojo is a danish blues band, founded in 1990 by our guitar player Martin Kleiner and drummer Thomas Ditlevsen. We are all well skilled blues musicians from Denmark and blues music is a very important part of our lives.
We always play the blues in a way that makes you smile, jump and dance all night.
In Front we have Ebbe Steen Johansen - a strong vocalist and blues harp, and Martin Kleiner - a tremendous Chicago and Texas inspired blues guitarist. In the back Lars Soerensen “the king of boogie†and his wild hammond/piano is supported by a very tight and swinging rhythm section, Thomas Ditlevsen (drums) and Anders Vraa (bass).
Some of our greatest moments:
In year 2008 we played at 60' Rock Festival for 4500 people in Odense, DK
In year 2007 we supported Duke Robillard and played at Skanderborgs Festival, DK.
In year 2005 and 2006 we played for 8000 people in "Kongens Have", DK
In year 2005 we played with Joe Louis Walker in Odense, DK
In year 2004 we supported Hubert Sumlin’
In year 2003 we supported Delbert McClinton.
In year 2002 we supported Eric Burdon & The New Animals.
In year 2000 we supported Pinetop Perkins w. George Kilbey, jr. & Ensemble New
