D. Sledge is an established young black male with aspirations of achieving all of his goals while utilizing his God given talents. Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana he holds his roots close and represents his struggle. Currently residing in Houston, TX he has climbed his way up the corporate ladder as a degreed engineer and is focused on letting his light shine. He has had a passion for music for years now and is known for freestyling like nobody’s business. Everyone in his surroundings has always told him that he had a gift and he should pursue it. He is now at a place in his life where he can focus on his one true passion...music. His style is versatile, but very real. He considers his self to be a story teller, because his music is based upon his life experiences. Never get complacent is his motto and he wants to be a voice for the people who can’t express themselves in this fashion. Music is his outlet. I present to you, D. Sledge.
