…are back after a long break with their new demo CD Member Of Society! In eight tracks they show a perfect symbiosis of merciless metal, blues influences and sensitive hook lines. The new power trio line-up Eddie (drums), Klaus (bass, vocals) and Patrick (guitar, vocals) recorded and produced the songs against all technical odds all by themselves.
Founded back in 1991 RAWBONED went through many troubles and line-up changes. With something like a stable line-up the band recorded a 4-track demo 3 years later, received good reviews throughout and got the band a tour through Germany and Austria. More troubles and line-up changes had to been faced and a second demo was recorded that again got raving response from the scene and even led to label offers. In the meanwhile RAWBONED has seen many faces such as founder and ex-Grinder guitarist Andreas Ergün, singer Chris Staubach (now Courageous) and drummer Gerd Lücking (now Rebellion). 4-stringer Klaus joined the fold playing the final gigs with RAWBONED, because last remaining founding member Patrick decided to put the band on hold for an indeterminate time…
...which in fact didn’t take sooo long, since Patrick and Klaus soon started writing new songs in his home recording studio – and it became obvious that two songwriters had found each other. After a long search they also found the right rhythm man in Masayasu „Eddie“ Umezawa a little later, who perfectly completes the band’s chemistry.
Experiments with new singers and a keyboarder failed so that Klaus took over the voice duties, supported by Patrick for the backing vocals. What was left after all this was a three-piece that finally got off the grid and now comes up with is first self-produced full-length Member Of Society that can be purchased via the band’s website for 10 Euro.
