Due to a national strike by the British Drummers Guild, The Citadelles have been on a brief hiatus. With contract and pay issues resolved for the Guild, all those pesky drum folk are back working. The Citadelles took their opportunity and sought the all elusive new drummer in order to continue there brave quest for world dominance. The three remaining members, Baz, Ste, and Graeme succeeded and are now joined by Pav on drums. Is he Greek? Is he a Yorkshireman? Your guess is as good as ours! The time has now arrived and the band are looking to spread their wings once again all over the fair city of Leeds and beyond. You: the public are advised to take your chance and see them now, before the tickets are too expensive, and whilst the venues are still small enough to see the whites of their eyes. And those eyes are Pure Brilliant. The Citadelles sound is one of good old fashioned Rock 'n' Roll blended with a modern vibe. Producing what has fondly become known as Muppet Rock. And finally not only is their majesic sound to be caught live, but recording and mixing has just finished on their new 5 track E.P.
