NEW SOLO CD OUT NOW!!! :::::::::: Eigentlich wollte ich neben meiner Arbeit für MOVIE & MOTION - Das Musical-Ensemble (www.movieandmotion.de) nur mal wieder ein paar Rock-Songs aufnehmen, aber das Projekt entwickelte sich zu einem kleinen Brückenschlag zwischen Musical und Rock. Dabei sind nun zwei Songs meiner Heroen KISS und WHITESNAKE („I Will Be There“, „Trouble“) sowie drei Musical-Songs aus meinem Bühnenrepertoire. Neben „This Is The Moment“ (JEKYLL & HYDE) und „Bring Him Home“ (LES MISÉRABLES) ist auch der Song zu hören, der mein Interesse für Musicals weckte: „Gethsemane“ (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR). Zwei eigene Songs („Keep On Believin’“, „Bad Sign Rising“) runden für mich das Album ab. Das Umsetzen der Musical-Songs in Unplugged-Versionen war ein Experiment. Ich denke, es ist uns geglückt. But what started as a small project soon became a musical bridge between rock and musical theater. On this CD I put songs of my alltime heroes KISS and WHITESNAKE („I Will Be There“, „Trouble“) and also three musical theater songs which are also part of my stage repertoire. Apart from „This Is The Moment“ (JEKYLL & HYDE) and „Bring Him Home“ (LES MISÉRABLES) I chose also the song which started my interest in this genre: „Gethsemane“ (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR). Two very own songs („Keep On Believin’“, „Bad Sign Rising“) complete this album for me. It was an interesting experiment to develop unplugged versions of the musical theater songs.
