I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a writer: I started as a freelance journalist in the 1970s with a national newspaper column and articles in magazines worldwide. In 2006 I was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Non-Fiction by the Horror Writers Association (the HWA) - my proudest moment as a professional writer. I am an Active Member of the HWA and a member of the Australian Horror Writers Association. I was elected as a Trustee of the HWA for a two year term from 1 November 2008.I also take on public speaking engagements and media events and have spoken about Stephen King's works at many conventions, including in Canberra and Melbourne (Australia), Bangor (Maine), Salt Lake City (Utah) and Estes Park (Colorado). My books can be found at:'The Complete Guide to the Works of Stephen King' www.horrorking.com;'Stephen King: Unpublished, Uncollected' http://shocklines.stores.yahoo.net/stkiununbrow.html (SIGNED paperback!);'The Stephen King Collector's Guide' www.horrorking.com/collector ;and 'Stephen King: The Non-Fiction' (also from Cemetery Dance). http://www.cemeterydance.com/page/CDP/PROD/wood02Join my Stephen King fan group at myspace: http://groups.myspace.com/stephenkingspotMy horror story, 'Disposable' appears in 'The Black Whole', a new anthology of dark tales. The book is edited by Jacqueline M Jones, published by Down in the Country Press of Mount Vision, NY and can be purchased from Amazon at:http://www.amazon.com/Black-Whole-Jacqueline-M-Jones/dp/0 970943377/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=122232 5904&sr=8-1Or just search on the ISBN: 978-0-9709433-7-8I live in Melbourne, Australia.
