Fighting, Arguing, Discussions, Beer Games, Restaraunt hopping in search of new tastes, Preaching to the Choir, Proselytising among the unwashed in a sneaky manner(if you think that means something dirty, you aren't someone I want to meet here, halfwit.) I like driving, a lot. In fact, if DL's were like Cell Phones, I'd always be over my mileage. I like adventures, exploring new towns and forests. I like to Canoe, Kayak, and Hunting/Fishing. I love to drag other people to my level so that they can see things the way I see them.
Chuck Liddel, that moron from the Tanqueray commercials so I may smite him, Randy Couture, Forrest and Bonnar... ummm, Cole Miller, Urijah Faber, and about a billion othersIf you wanna give me a scream outside of MySpace, email me or message me at greyrime on AIM or greyrime on yahoo.
Killing Joke, Finger Eleven, Poe,Breaking Benjamin, Skunk Anansie, Sevendust, Drain STH, Rammstein, Godsmack(the first album), Seether, Chevelle, Johnny Cash, Offspring (pre-Americana), Crossfade, Tool, Perfect Circle, Spiderbite, My Chemical Romance, Submersed, American Head Charge, Disturbed, and pretty well anything that doesn't sound like techno or the Top 40....
Pretty well anything Tarantino, True Romance, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Things to do in Denver When You're Dead, Dune, Children of Dune, Boondock Saints, The Transporter, Gone in Sixty Seconds( Just because the guy that played the Sphinx is a great actor.) Ravenous, Run Ronnie, Run(Not Run Lola Run) Anything with Nicholas Cage or Samuel L. Jackson.
Adult Swim is just about my favorite anime/comedy block of television programming, minus Home Movies. I love MXC on SpikeTV, I guess because as a child I liked pulling the wings off of flies......its like America's Home Videos, dubbed from Japanese to English with fewer nutshots and more witty repartee. the WEC and UFC live stuff on Spike and Versus are cool, too.
Anything by Frank or Brian Herbert. I've been reading King since I was eight, but he's sucking wind lately...... Neil Gaiman's American Gods....read it. Also, Terry Pratchett's Small Gods....a great and comedic read. I'd also suggest Heinlein's Job.....it reads eerily close to the way life runs sometimes. I like all of Vonnegut's books, try Hunter S. Thompson's stuff....its wild stuff. You gotta read the Godfather... at least once. The movies are great, but the book is something else.
I'll have to do this just a little differently as I don't idolise anyone in full, hateful as it may sound. Corey Kegerreis, for keeping his head down whether he liked it or not. My Father, Norm II for doing things he didn't like to make sure that he gave me his version of life, the way he wanted. And last, but certainly not least, a guy named Childress, who showed me that no matter how right I believe I am, someone else knows I'm wrong.
