About Me

BRAIN IN A CAGE IS NO LONGER AN ACTIVE BAND. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT, SEND MESSAGES, ETC. JUST KNOW THAT NO ONE WILL LIKELY GET BACK TO YOU. :)
Brain in a Cage, named by former member Al, was formed in late 2000 when Cor, Kirk and Ben got together in junior high. There were previous manifestations as well, but this was the first one to play shows, etc. From there, they recorded a demo in 2001 with Cayle of Oddman (now of Armed For Apocalypse) on drums. They eventually found a new drummer in Nik, and the final lineup was solidified. In 2003, they released their self-titled debut album, which ended up being the final recording. About another album's worth of material was written and performed live over the course of the next couple of years. Soon Kirk and Cor began playing for Blood of Cain and Nik and his cousin Nate formed Lysistrata. Both of these were initially side projects and eventually, due to BIAC's lack of activity, they became more serious bands.
...It was good times while it lasted. Here are our new bands:
