The House of Paws offers professional dog grooming, doggy day care, and pet sitting for your best friend. We have excellent groomers and the best prices in town!!!Our day care has a kitchen area including a dog couch and a TV. The dogs enjoy animal planet and movies like Lady and the Tramp and Shrek. The dogs really like to listen to the TV with all of those interesting animal sounds coming from the speakers. It is blocked off and that is where dogs are given there packed lunches to avoid any bullies. Sometimes if there is a puppy or little dog that needs to get away they are allowed to hang out in the kitchen. There are two seperate rooms besides the kitchen. There is a big play room and a middle room. The middle room is the evaluation room where we introduce the dog to some of our regulars and test the temparment to see if he or she would do well in daycare. Our big dogs have to do well with little dogs to be accepted into our daycare program but sometimes the little ones get scared, or the big ones start playing too rough with one another. This happens a lot and when it does we keep the smaller ones in the smaller room with plenty of toys, water, and lots of attention. We take the dogs outside to the grass to use the restroom several times a day. We don't want them learning bad habits in daycare plus pet waste can transmit disease so we try and keep it very clean. The dogs get to play games, listen to music, and watch animal planet or a movie. If you pack them a snack or a lunch we will feed your dog at the time that you request us to. It is Only 15 dollars a day for all day day care! That is 7am - 7pm. Your dog lives for you, he waits for you all day while you are at work with a tennis ball in his mouth... or maybe with a leash... or maybe he just wants a belly rub. But never the less he lives for you and waits for you all day long. Then you get home and are worn out from the day, or have a date maybe and then your dog is left waiting, again, hoping and trusting that the next day will be you and him, having a good time at the park or even just the back yard witht the tennis ball. Then he goes to sleep hoping, before the same uneventful day happens again the next day and the next day. Your dog stays loyal though, loving you and waiting for you patiently. Doesn't he deserve to have a good time while you are at work? Maybe just a couple times a week for being such a good friend.I think dogs are the best role models for living with there honesty and loyalty. I think they deserve more.Amy Mattson 817-864-WOOF The House of Paws
