right....interests - PAINTBALLING. nothing better than running about getting shot at, shooting at people, cowering behind a tree if you're pinned down. it really is a true adrenaline rush. other than the suicidal tendancy of paintballing, watching films at the cinema, go to concerts/gigs, get together with friends and go out for meals, play and watch footy, go to the pub and play pool, chill out in my mates pool with music on, read music/movie magazines, chill out on my sofa and crash out down the beach all day with a bbq in the evening (best summer interest ever!)
Eric Cantona, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Edward Norton, Zach DeLa Rocha, Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury, Jimmi Hendrix, Dave Grohl and Michael Stipe (REM). Add to that list Bob Geldof/Richard Ashcroft so i could slap them both and tell them to stop being whiny little bitches.
This could be a never-ending list as i love a variety of music, but i will outright admit hating dance/trance/techno and all said related categories where the lazy fucking dj just hits repeat. I think the best way of defining the music i like is by saying some of what you would find on my mp3 player which include - The Ordinary Boys, Fratellis, Larrakin Love, This Providence, Rage Against the Machine, Boy Hits Car, Gym Class Heroes, REM, Faithless, Prodigy, Madness, Foo Fighters, Gogol Bordello, Dashboard Confessional, Motion City Soundtrack, Sublime, Juliette & The Licks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 100 Reasons, Boy Sets Fire, Cute Is What We Aim For and then there's the older stuff like Led Zepplin, The Clash, WHo, Jam, Ramones, Chuck Berry, Ray CHarles and the Rat Pack - great selections.
My "Top 10" films roughly in order are - 1)Shaun Of The Dead, 2)Fight Club, 3)American History X, 4)Donnie Darko, 5)Good Will Hunting, 6)High Fidelity, 7)Ghostbusters 1 & 2, 8)Garden State, 9)Little Miss Sunshine, 10)Sideways. I like any film if it appeals to me though and some of my other favourites are - Eternal Sunshine, Brick, Buffalo Soldiers, CONfidence, Batman Begins, Remember the Titans, Friday Night Lights, AIRPLANE, Crash, Seven, Ice Age, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Superman Returns, Lucky Number Sleven, Good Morning Vietnam, The Jacket, Back To The Future, Madagascar (quite possibly the best scene stealers aka The Psychotic Penguins!) Top Gun and this list goes on!
not alot to list here, all i really watch on tv is - 24 (genius), Family Guy (better than the simpsons), Scrubs (what it really must be like working in a hospital), Prison Break (season 1 = thought-provoking), Lost (what the fuck?) & Frasier (pompous arses, dont understand alot of what they say. very funny though).
Books i have read recently...erm, few and far between - Michael Moore - Stupid White Men/Dude, Where's My Country? other than that - Bringing Down The House, H to the P-otter and am going to start on Nelson Mandela's Autobiography.
i guess i havent looked at enough myspace pages to be able to see who anyone else has put. i'd go for anyone inspiring enough to make me push beyond my dreams. all my interest in films and music and who i'd like to meet are more interests than heroically based. i guess, anyone who influenced a revolution albeit musical, political, scientifically. people are fickle things, you'd never know until you meet them.
