Allow me to explain:• Sons: First and foremost we are all sons of the most high Father. In the book of John chapter 1 verse 12 it says; “Yet to all who received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave them the right to become children of Godâ€. We all know that a male child is called Son. Our goal is to re-establish our male children’s’ son-ship in Christ the Father. We will instill in their hearts and minds that they do have a Father. They have the ultimate father, the ultimate leader, the ultimate role-model, the ultimate nurturer of their fondest hopes and dreams. We will teach our young men that they are Suns of the Father as well. We will show them how they all possess an inner glow, a divine shine that is the light of the Holy Spirit which dwells within each of them. We will show them that by the sheer virtue of being born male, they possess inherent leadership and great responsibility. God has granted them a natural authority as male children, as he did Adam, and it is this authority they must learn to tap into to become the responsible leaders of tomorrow that we know they can be. We will teach them to believe as a son should believe in his Father. It is through a renewed belief in the Father, and a re-discovered belief in self, that they will re-claim their son-ship and take comfort in knowing that they are never without a Father; The True Father.• Of: by definition means: 1, derivation, source, or origin: from. 2, concerning, about. 3, indicating composition or substance. 4, indicating possession: belonging to. 5, containing. Of is what strengthens, unites, and empowers our spiritual leaders, mentors, volunteers and participants within S.O.A.R. We are of the Father. We belong to the Him. His will is ours. The Father is our source of power, both spiritually and in the world. He possesses us therefore we belong to him. We will teach our sons that they belong to him as well. In doing so we will build their self esteem and self confidence. One of the greatest feelings we experience as human beings is the feeling of belonging; being a part of something greater than ourselves; belonging to someone or something. We all belong to Christ. The Lord is our substance. His word is our source and the true origin of our lives. All things we do must contain him and his will.• ABBA: You are all sons of God thru faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 4: 6-7; “Because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out “Abba Fatherâ€. So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.†Again we go back to our children’s gift of son-ship. It is paramount that we instill this deep within their hearts and minds. Because we are sons of the Most High, he sent us his Son Jesus Christ so that we may know and learn his heart and walk according to his ways. We will show our young men that they were freed from slavery at the cross. Jesus called out “Abba Father!†He shows us that we must lean solely on Abba Father at all times. We need not be slaves to the ways of this world. We will teach our young men that they have strength and authority thru Jesus Christ to resist the callings of street life. A life which holds no future for them except incarceration, drug addiction, and ultimately pre-mature death. By learning to call out Abba Father they will be released from the bondage of peer pressure, the hopelessness of poverty and inner city life, and the helplessness of feeling abandoned and alone by the male figures in their lives.• Resurrected: By definition resurrect means: to restore life to; to renew or reconstruct; to bring back from the dead. This organization’s paramount responsibility and profound promise is to resurrect the lives of troubled young men. Our aim is to bring their young souls back from the dead and reconstruct their broken existences thru spiritual leadership and Christian mentorship.
