Well I began making music when I discovered you can create hip hop beats with DarkBasic game programming software.That led to me getting music production software and buying a mic and synths, and I went through several stage/band names until I came up with Mimzy. I like bunny rabbits and it's so indie rock ya know so I chose it.My real name is Michael Farrington, I was born on January 16, 1990. I've grown up in various cities around the American West and I hope to tour the western US and Canada soon.My musical influences are quite diverse. I take much of my production style from Depeche Mode, the Postal Service, and Phil Collins.I hugely admire producer Alan Parsons.And of course, my main influence is my own radness.****************************************************
