I've been me for most of my life, and I am now used to the idea that I will probably be me a little longer. Unless I stop being me, which then would make me someone else and that would just be silly.
I've worked hard to get to where I am and, I will work harder still to get where I am going. I didn't make it this far alone however and I have to attribute the "me that is" to my super-kickasstic wife Missie, with a healthy appreciative nod to the awesomest parents who put up with my shit for so long and didn't kill me.
I am mean, I am a hardass, I am inconsiderate, just ask anyone who knows me. I eat coal and shit diamonds, the porcelain in my bathroom is completely wrecked.
I am a Daddy first and everything else second. Nevermind the fact that my kids are the most awesomest little people in the world; they are my responsibility, and my favorite one. They didn't ask to come into this world and they didn't ask to be my kids. But they did and they are and I will never turn my back on them. Any man who can/does isn't worth a damn, and is directly driving society into the shitter. Kids first everything else second!!! If you cant handle that then you had better either whack off a lot or bag your junk up.
I really like music and sometimes I attempt to massacre songs with instruments or my voice. I have a marginal degree of success with the harmonica but that is just marginal.
I absolutely cannot stand people who either affect stereotypes or buy into them. Cases in point: racists, man-haters, misogynists, smiley glad hands, etc etc. There is no time in this world for things of that sort. If a mind is narrowed by it's own design then it cannot progress beyond itself.
I am not a Democrat - I cannot stand people who are based solely on the fact that their favorite actor or musician or author or any other pop culture icon of their choice are Democrats.
I am not a Republican - I wont structure my mind or beliefs on any group mentality posture.
I believe that a bi-partisan government that does not work for the people but rather has the people work for them is faulted at its core and needs a serious re-work done on it. I believe that everyone should inform themselves and stay informed and make choices based off of that information. Complain about the government all you want but it is a beast of our own design born from our own ignorance. It makes me sad that more people vote for the next American Idol than the President.
Language of any sort [English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese] is a gift that too many people have chosen to bastardize and sadly take for granted. If I don't know what a word means I look it up or ask someone. We have so many interesting and useful words in the English language (mush less any language) and yet we are constantly dumbing it down to appease the lowest common denominator. I have an idea, lets stop acquiescing to that lowest common denominator and make them start expanding their vocabulary.
I know that no one reads the about me section. Especially if there are a lot of words in it and very few page-slowing pics or videos on it. If you did read mine then I say thank you for taking the time.
