Founded in Baltimore City, Maryland by William "Grim Rippa" Young. RGF can be found in several states. RGF was origionally started in 1993 when Rippa was at the age of 5 based off of Revenge as Shadow Death Gang. He grew up with a bad childhood full of abuse and hatred. He was constantly threatened and had racism thrown at him and also experienced several near-death moments. Growing up on his own with no friends and noone around; he learned at a young age to become a "man". Later as he grew older and became accepted into certain groups because of his "potential". At the age of 12 he had already come to the point of which he no longer desired to be loved and began hating himself. He only desired death, which caused him to join a gang known as the Crips, which he found out at the age of 16, was a fake gang made off the real Crip gang. Angered by this discovery and the fact that he spent those years in and out the psychiatric unit of the hospital on several drugs; he set out once again to create his own gang. He became more connected to the people that held him down and began to use them as a substitute to the love of a family. Loosing his desire for death he dropped Shadow from the name. As he was growing older he became more interested in Black Movements, especially Malcolm X and the Black Panthers. But because of his addiction to violence he was unable to fully lead the group in this direction and ended up with a large group of uncontrollable violent people. He broke up the group and got rid of most of the members and came back attempting to lead away from the direction that the media has promoted gangs as being. Pulling together with the help of some homies he created a small gang made up of his most trusted(The Originals). Seing death as a passageway to unlock ourselves from these invisible chains and also as a new begining he renamed it RIP Squad on May 13th 2006. When He discovered another group with the same name, he renamed it RIP Gang on June 30th, 2006. Growing in his connection to his homies and the people who looked up to him and seeing that his mentality would keep him from completely staying on the Black Panther path at all times he decided to add Family to the end of the name to promote his idea of the orginization's aim to be a supportive family-based group. The gang is not about gang banging, selling drugs, crime, or anything like that. It is created somewhat in the direction of the Black Panthers. We hate the police.

The G Code
The G Code stands for Ghetto Code. It is generally used to describe the old gangsters, the street veterans, who are from the ghetto or the hood as some like to call it. To be born in the G Code is something to be proud of, it means you are a hard-ass gangster and no one can fuck with you.
We don't talk to police, we don't make a peace bond, we don't trust in the judicial system, we shoot guns. We rely on the streets, we do battle in the hood, I was born in the G Code, embedded in my blood.
