Melissa has always been interested in music, though she is glad she has grown out of her 1st grade desire to be the next Barbra (yes, "-ra") Streisand. I mean, really, do we want Yentl, Part II? No. So, Melissa went for some loose training in classical--madrigals, cantata--and mixed it up with some extra-curric work in [pull out the black-light and neon posters...] fusion! Over time Melissa's style has fallen back on what she loves the most-- simple but rich music.
