She was an intense singer who lived during an intense time in American history. Although she didnt have a long career, Joplin became one of the most important voices of her time. She didnt just sing,she always sang from the bottom of her soul . She once said this about her singing: “When I am there, I am not here. I can’t talk about my singing. I’m inside it. How can you describe something you are inside of? On Saturday, October 3 1970 she overdosed on heroin at the age of 27. Joplin was cremated in Los Angeles, and her ashes were scattered from a plane into the Pacific Ocean and along Stinson Beach. Like I said before , there is such a kind of people who could never find the real love they need , You don’t need to love them , just don’t judge them . One of them was a Janis Joplin . Maybe she was not a "hero" , but she was a great human being raised in the small town ...
