ERIC DIAMOND
was born Eric Turner in Boston , MA in 1978. He was born into the music buisness. Placed on a stage for the first time at three. His mother was the keyboard player for 2 highly aclaimed bands Everyday people, and Highrise. At the ageof thirteen he gained a major opportunity to be in the criticly aclaimed play Shades (a musical) with Emmett B Thomas, Jackie Parker, and Nahim Allah both from the movie lift). At fourteen he started his proffesional music career with Sheba Productions operated by Carl Shaquelton, as a Member of the dynamic R&B group 1st Classtogether we recorded a large catolog of songs oppened for Classic Example & New Kids on the Block. Through this he gained an opportunity to work with Gary Ivory Oneil (former Star search judge and master producer) GIO ENT, and Warner Bro's Records. It also brought Diamonds the opportunity to perform in the Uptown Showcase at the Roxy. Diamonds then did something to solidify his new grown and sexy image and smothly trnsended from child prodigy to certified vocal phenom by joining the powerful vocal/soul group Moment of Truth. Together they sighned a management deal the Lex Luther management group. Moment of Truth worked with Trybe called Quest producer Lucy Pearl and Lucy Pearl member Skeff Ansem. The same year the group won the Boston All Stars and theycame in 1st place in the National Compitition. After Moment of truth disbanded Diamond then joined the groupGEM/Raw Material/Official. Where I got the chance to work with Jamie Thompson and Bunny Rose from Classic Example. Regardless of the Name changes or the member changes one thing remains the samethey were the best group in Boston. They opened for Tevin Campbell, Tank, Sharissa, Johnathan Gates, the IBC featherweight championships. Worked on a solo Album with Area Raw ENT, with Herb Degraffe, and Johnathan "MayDay Malone" May. After a few years of laying low enjoying a new swagger, a new project, and a new company (Diamond Mine,/QBE ENT).
