hi everyone........i'm a bass player who likes to dabble on guitar drums and keys . I have a small studio at home that i like to play around with . It's a lot of fun to go in there with a couple chords and see what you can come up with.i do a lot of collaborating with my good friend mike odendahl..between the two of us we have a lot of ideas and never seem to have enough time to get them all done mike is a superb guitar player who is also a great songwriter.we have been working together in my studio for about a year mike also has a nice studio in his home which he also does a lot of work on our projects as well as others check out some of mike's work you can click him on my top friends page.For equipment i'm a big fan of 4 string Fender basses.My main bass is a Sadowsky hybrid p/j model ash P body and a maple j neck it has active electronics and vtc..it has an active bypass.this is one hot bass it really comes alive i'm still trying to fiqure out all the possibilites Dave Freeman at Club Bass in T.O is the guy to see i also use a newer model Fender Jazz active deluxe.This bass has awesome tone in and out of the studio. Its a mexican made bass that normally i would have passed on but i tried every US fender bass in the store and they had quite a few and none of them felt or sounded quite right Just as i was leaving the salesperson asked me to try this one and i did . i bought it on the spot and have never regretted it. I also have a re-issue 53 precision very clear sound with great bottom a very nice live bass. My other bass is a 90 Z1 fretless Godin unreal neck ebony fingerboard just the smoothest bass to play i'm also playing thro a mesa Mpulse 600 and a mesa 4x12 bass cab some great tone there i also play a fender telecaster hwy 1 model and a handmade McConville acoustic guitar My guitar amp is a 2x12 Fender DeVille To round things out i have a 70's era set of Ludwig drums..So as you can see i have a full band set up all you have to do is bring your talent. ........thanks for checking out my stuff and check out my posted friends some really great players who do great music everything from blues to rock to soul to funk to R&B to mowtown ......take care ..........rob
