The Lost One

I'm not up to much at all, not even working. Mostly because I don't think anything is worth doing. Not much point in having money to go see a movie by myself. It's pointless for me to even try it seems. No matter what I never even make it to a third date, on the rare occasion that I do have even one. I'm sick of being a great guy, or amazing person, or whatever, but that I'm not liked "that way". It always turns out that I never have a chance. I'm also sick of hearing that there are other fish in the sea. If women were fish, I'd be a starving fisherman running out of bait while watching others mutilate and throw away what they catch. Meanwhile the few nibbles I get either get away or are ripped off my line by someone with a fancy boat, usually whipping me with the broken line. That and no ONE fish would ever convince a man to stop fishing. Typically catching a nice fish tends to make people want to catch more, and usually bigger fish. Even though I love to fish, I most certainly do not view women in the same light as fish. I'm not looking for quantity. I'm not looking for a trophy. I'm not looking for a light meal to keep me for a few hours. I am looking for someone to share time with. Someone who wants to spend their time with me, as much as I want to spend my time with them. Not that I'm looking for an instant marriage, but a relationship that lasts longer than a week would be nice.
