About Me

This is the official page for the [ominously indie] Closet Studio.
RATE: $100-$200 PER SONG
This home studio is open to anyone who wants to record and wants something they will enjoy. Professional equipment (see left column), mixing software and plugins, plus a comfortable space combine for a studio experience that is undeniably stress-free. Our philosophy is to make professional-quality recordings without the pressures of a typical pay-by-the-hour studio. Why should you have to go to a studio where you are losing money every minute, stressing out and rushing the band? With The Closet Studio, you pay per song, so there's no stress.
I hate to see when people record, make an album, spend a lot of money, and then a month later they hate it. I am open to all genres, and I enjoy a challenge. The idea is to record an album that is enjoyable and high quality, without spending your life savings.I offer recording, mixing, AND in-house mastering for the low price of "$100-$200 per song." The price isn't set in stone because it really depends what you're doing. I won't charge a singer songwriter the same price as I'll charge a 5-piece band. Why should I? For your own personal quote, contact me and we can discuss it.I also do mixing and mastering separately. Send me your tracks via Data CD / DVD and I can mix them from here. I have done albums from Tulsa and albums from San Diego, so don't worry about where you are. The price varies with every project / song, but for mixing it's usually $60-$100 per song and for mastering it's usually $25-$50 per song.Email, Message, Comment; just contact me. I'm a very reasonable person and I can work with all kinds of genres, styles, ideas...and budgets. Keep in touch.
