B.O.S.C.O (Born Of Society's Constant Oppression) is a self styled & self taught rapper/producer from Peckham, South East London.
Mickey 'BOSCO' Pills has made a name for himself producing tracks for a number of Hip Hop and R&B artists as well as getting rave reviews for his live performances at numerous open mic sessions.
No new-comer to the form of lyrical expression, BOSCO started out as an MC back in the Jungle/Drum 'n' Bass days, clashing on playgrounds and housing estates under the name 'M.C. ICER'.
Times changed and BOSCO changed with them, trading the machine gun flows of Jungle for the slower, more methodical flows of House & Garage.
Always an originator he refused to conform to routine and repetative styles of his peers and instead used the slower beats to excersice his gift for lyrical story telling and scene setting.
Having always been a follower of Hip Hop, BOSCO soon realised that that was the genre best suited to his style of lyricism and the creative potential was a huge attraction.
Not only an impressive lyricist, BOSCO is also regarded by some as one of the most talented producers Peckham has ever produced.
Self taught in ever sense of the expression BOSCO has gone from constructing simple loops on 'Music' for the PlayStation 1, to writing and producing tracks for himself and others as well as mastering and mixing of all tracks released by DropMore Records.
Formerly a representative of ALRICH RECORDS, BOSCO intiated a long time plan to start DropMore Records when the two founding members of ALRICH decided to disband.
Along with his partner KE'LO he then co-founded the 'LONDON STREET REGIMENT' and has been working tirelesly to break the team ever since.
A finalist in 2005's 291 Club @ The Hackney Empire, BOSCO is renowned for his musical vision and clarity, and he along with 'The London Street Regiment' (DropMore Records) are tipped by a few to be the 'next big thing' in British Hip Hop.
