It only took me a year to update my profile, but everyone should do it because I was amazed at how much has changed in the last year. I will start with the fact that I am no longer twenty three, I am now 24 and creeping towards that dreaded "1/4 of a century old" stage of life. Secondly, I am no longer a college student!!!! Thank you Jesus! I graduated July 29, 2006 with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lee University. I am currently enjoying a break while waiting for a teaching job to come open, which will more than likely be in July. In the meantime I bartend Monday through Thursday mornings/afternoons at Logans and somehow survive the craziness of Friday and Saturday nights working in the bar at Logans. And the most important fact to update is that I have finally found the man of my dreams! We have been together since July 2006 and I have been the happiest that I have ever been. I believe God was truly paying attention as I made my "want" list for my perfect man...and then, just as God always does, he provided that perfect man but he is so much more than I could have ever wished for. My only advice to those still seeking...never settle. We are each different and unique creations and we each have different desires. Never settle for less than what you deserve and have always dreamed of. I didn't, and now I am blessed to have the most handsome, most amazing man God has placed on this earth. Check back in a year from now...just to see what can happen in a year :)
