Geographical History: I grew up all over VA with an unfortunate year in PA and two and a half years sort of in MI, though I was away at school the whole time so it hardly counts. I spent 4 academic years in CT at a tiny little boarding school in the middle of nowhere and have now had my fill of winter, small towns, and the northeast (with a few exceptions). Currently I'm a senior at William and Mary in the lovely, yet somewhat uneventful state of VA. I've spent the past two summers in San Diego interning at the fantastic office of Wilson Petty Kosmo and Turner LLP and working at a little store called Lilly Pulitzer. Next year I will hopefully move to either San Diego or LA and have a real job so I can actually stay.Family history: My mother is just about the most awesome person ever. She's quite a class act. Which, unfortunately, means there's not too much to say about her here. My father, however, is a different story. He's Mormon, first of all. not joking. He was mormon when my parents got married but ditched church for the first 19 years of marriage because he thought that the church wouldn't approve of his marrying a non-mormon. When we moved to MI, however, they roped him back in and now he's a gung-ho, alcohol-free, non-tea, non-coffee, church every sunday, special underwear wearing, Temple-going Mormon. Which gives me a lot of material. My sister is a year, two months and 15 days older than me and has become quite entertaining over the past few years. She's a drama queen with some family angst and an English major, too... put those together and it makes for a lot of very long notes and emails which will one day be turned into a book of short-stories, and for now are pretty humorous at times. We also have two somewhat psychotic dogs, but people don't like reading about other people's dogs, so that's all I'll say about that.
