About Me

A Definition of me, in short... I Do This For You. and for my newfound love of composing music... Originally just an aspiring filmmaking storyteller, this artistic prodigy of a young man decided to one day invest in an Macbook for Movie editing purposes. After stumbling upon the program Garageband that comes with the Macbook early June 2007 , he found himself interested in this new dynamic of expression.With no musical background (with the exception of elementary school music class) Jomfi completed his first beat Mid-June 2007 .By completing this first piece and even though he had no other music making equipment than that of his Macbook(not even a keyboard) he realized that in music production his potential was limitless .Even though Jomfi still does not have any knowlege in writing or even reading music and notes , he does not let this hold him back from plowing through these obsticles and reaching for his goal to one day impact the world with his expression , and his dream to collaborate with and learn from the best(see influences). First off I would like to thank the influencial music of Neptunes(Pharrell!) for your simplistic appealing musical genius, also the abstract, revolutionary Workings of Timbaland and the Beautiful creative music of Nobou Uematsu. Without these Guys this page would not be and I would probably be a famous filmmaker by now but my sudden change in interests and lack of focus due to music having drawn most of my attention...lol.
Also.... Just Blaze-his sampling is simply amazing along with his urban flavor. Danjahandz, The Dream and Tricky Stewart, Cool And Dre, JR for his new work and excellent multi Genre skills, The Underdogs, Tim and Bob, Dr. Dre, Will I AM, Wycleff, Akon, Tpain for his new flavor he's added to the game and all the other constant Hit Makers in the industry(I cant wait to enjoy the happiness of that feeling). To all of the young producers that demand respect... Corey Bold (18 yrs old), the 19 yr old Jay Wes and all the other Extremely talented young producers about to come up in the Industry. Shoutout to Lupe fiasco and Immortal Technique. keep speakin tha truth!!!!
Other Influences ...because, simply put, they get shit done... Kanye West because of all the hard work, dedication and His amazing tendancy to "bounce back" when the odds are against him. Will Smith believe it or not is one of the people everyone should give credit to. He has always reached for his goals, not just musically but in his career as a whole, and gave 1000% with the utmost modesty. Nick Canon, for being young, successful, and a poised businessman. Also, not to sound to cliche but Martin Luther King Jr. for his enthusiasm, impact and never give up attitude.
