About Me

'What will your obituary say?' at QuizGalaxy.com

They tell me I'll never grow up and I'm here to tell you I hope they're RIGHT! Growing old may suck but growing up will be the DEATH of you! Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit...what a ride!"

My Interests

People who want to share their religious views with you, almost never want you to share yours with them.

CURRENT MOON moon phase info

I'm a REN RAT from WAY back, I spent some time in a performing group and though that didn't work out, hope to find other avenues for my creative side. *wink*

I still play the game with my old friends in the ADRIAN EMPIRE

and of course I have my license from the INTERNATIONAL WENCHES GUILD .

You can take the girl out of a renaissaince faire but....

I've been online gaming for over seven years now. I keep coming back to ASHERON'S CALL , (Bran-Li - Lvl 210 - Archer.) I'll probably be there till they take the servers down. =/ Old habits, die hard, but I'm currently on sabatical to WoW!

After Erik and I got married, his brother Kenny talked us into trying CITY OF HEROES/CITY OF VILLANS . Jury is still out on that one, but I could waste and entire day just CREATING characters!

Thanks to The Mixologist, initially and now a group that Erik works with, the sabatical has eneded here. WORLD OF WARCRAFT (Branli - Lvl 55 NE Hunter - Lightbringer - Retired.) Seri - Lvl 40 Troll Hunter - Thrall, Marrywell - Lvl 13 BE Paladin - Thrall and Elizabeyta - Lvl 20 Undead Rogue - Thrall. What can I say...I went to the Dark Side, they promised me cookies!

Dr. Brave, Badass, Wessy Poo did finally get me to load the 14 day free trial of DARK AGE OF CAMELOT on my machine...but then he got a life or something and it never caught on for me...HAPPY, WESLEY? *wink*

LONG time Cubs fan! Their day is coming...maybe not today, but someday! GO CUBBIES !

I'd like to meet:

James O'Barr, Christopher Walken, Brandon Lee...(yeah, I know he's dead...thanks.), Anne Rice, Tim Burton, AP Fuchs, Jessica Mulligan, Laurell K. Hamilton, Elizabeth II, Katie McAllister, Salma Hayek, Chris Ludmer, Candye Kane and Eddie Izzard...that's a good start!

JAMES O'BARR
"People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."

"...because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well, and yet everything happens only a certain number of times. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood that is so deeply a part of your being you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps, twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." ~Brandon Lee 1993
(paraphrased:The Sheltering Sky ~Paul Bowles 1949)

VISIT CANDYE!

VISIT EDDIE!

Music:

Anything and everything but opera...I just never developed an ear for it. Still sounds like somebody's doing wierd shit to a cat.

The world cried when STEVIE died. Thank all you hold holy that his music didn't.

An '80's girl at heart, I'll still travel to see an AEROSMITH concert since they're the nicest group of guys I've ever met!

I'll have the only jukebox in the country with EVANESCENCE ...the MINSTRELS OF MAYHEM ...and GARTH BROOKS on it! :D

Dixie Chicks Videos | Music Video Codes

Movies:

I have to REALLY want to see the movie to brave the theater, since parents have taken to using them as daycare, but I like dark movies. Movies that make you think. Movies that remind you that you're alive.

As you can probably tell, my all time favorite is THE CROW . I've pretty much stuck to that basic theme. Love, tragedy and redemption.

Television:

Man, I hate TV. Well, network TV anyway. Only thing I won't miss is House and CSI, the original. Cable's coming along with FoodTV, Bravo, the Discovery Channel, Biography and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Yeah...so I mentioned the not growing up, right?

Books:

Now if Erik Draven had been a vamp or lycan...well folks, that'd been just about perfect for me. ;)

I read anything and everything to do with vampires, lycans ( BEST ONES ) and other immortals, like CARPATHIANS - Julian, in my stocking, would restore my faith in Santa or perhaps Talon under the tree, from DARK HUNTERS ...feel free to surprise me! ;)

In between, I read LOU PAGET’S books.

I wouldn’t steer you wrong, girls. Trust me on this one! GOOD!

Heroes:

Hands down...single parents. Moms...Dads...whatever. The job is long, often frought with peril and mostly thankless. Bright Blessings on them, every one!
