About Me

My name is Timothy Carroll. I play in a band with a bunch of musicians who put me to shame. Our stages are the carpeted and gaffa taped venues of Australia, this panting and tropical colonial outpost. Our drink of choice is the Patsy cline.

Timothy Carroll's style reflects influences such as Damien Rice, Beth Orton and Rufus Wainwright. His approach to songwriting and his delivery is contemporary and vibrant. - Faster Louder
Timothy Carroll plays music full of wry wit and cleverly observed details. He slides some nicely chosen covers into his set as well, including CocoRosie's By My Side, singing about happily dying a housewife just as earnestly as they do. - Rave
Undoubtedly one of Brisbane's best kept secrets and arguably finest musicicans around right now is Timothy Carroll. – TimeOff

Residency at the Joynt

So I got this idea that a residency would be great to do. Seems like a dying thing. The idea always reminds me of Jeff Buckely at Siné or Ed Keuper at the Troubadour. They are a great Idea because you...
