New Sedition

Formed in July 04, New Sedition are a fast, loud and hungry young 5 peice punk rock band. We sing about stickin it to the man, political agendas, what weve been through and anything that means a thing to us.It all started way back in high school when Josh and Ryan decided to form a punk rock band. I came along soon afterwards (after bringing my guitar to school and showing off, or were they just desperate?) and the first practice sessions started at Ryans place. After a few months we decided that playing just the intros of songs wouldnt cut it so Josh came up with a few ideas for songs and all we needed was a singer and drummer. We tried a few singers out but none of them seemed as serious as we were, so it was back to the drawing board. The next theing we know Josh joined a band called Faster than falling, assuring us he still had time for New Sedition. We asked FTF's drummer if he felt like playing in our band on the side, so he joined and we were 4 up 1 tp go. Enter Rhys. Josh started telling us about this singer that he worked with and we should get him in the band, so next thing we got Rhys in for an audition and after first rehearsal we new he was to be New Sedition's frontman (and because we couldnt find anyone good enough). But alas, our drummer got a better offer and we back in the garage again rehearsing with no drummer and really out of time. Fortunately, Ryan saved us by inviting Leigh to have a shot and we finally played our first show in August of 2004....and we havent looked back.Until lead singer Rhys struggling for motivation and extra time left the band late in 2007. -Paul I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
