Actors, Producers, Directors, Educators, Casting Directors.
NOTE TO ACTORS: We love you dearly, but please: We are a casting company, not a talent agency. We do not represent actors; we are hired by producers to find talent THROUGH talent agencies for their projects. We do not "sign" anyone.

Extras earn minimum wage, plus overtime pay after eight hours. Shoot days are sporadic, but long (can be 12 hours or more) and extras are required to be 100% available on their work dates.
Rutabaga Background Casting does not charge extras any fees to be listed with its company. There is no charge to create a basic profile and no requirement to upgrade to a premium account.
PROFESSIONAL ACTORS
If you're a professional actor interested in being considered for the second season of TNT's "LEVERAGE", make sure you've watched last season's episodes , so you'll be up to speed on the genre of the show, especially if coming in for director sessions.
Unrepped actors based in Oregon or Washington can mail hard copies of headshots and resumes (stapled back-to-back) to:
Lana Veenker Casting
2580 NW Upshur St
Portland, OR 97210
No drop-ins, emails or phone calls, please.
Represented actors in Oregon and Washington do not need to send their materials; they will be submitted to us by agents.
NOTE: Actors outside Oregon and Washington are not likely to be considered, as the production is budgeted for local talent only.
REGARDING INDIVIDUAL REQUESTS
As much as we'd like to, we are simply unable to answer individual questions or review your materials, due to our work load (especially if those requests pertain to a project we are NOT casting).
Casting directors are really impressed, however, when actors show some gumption and do the research themselves (hint, hint!), instead of lazily asking "what should I include on my acting resume?"
So, please, hop online, ask other actors in your community, and visit your library or bookstore. There are lots of great books on the subject of acting and auditioning. Show the CDs what you've got! Initiative goes a long way.Break a leg!
