The Winery Music Awards competition brings the best of today's hottest independent music artists to scenically, romantic wine country. It's not a competition for "winery music." Rather, it's a competition held in wine country that showcases independent artists in a variety of music genres....from jazz & blues to rock, acoustic, alternative, pop and adult contemporary. Think of it as "Wine Country's Answer to the Sundance Film Festival," where indie music replaces indie films and rolling hills of vineyards replace snow-covered ski slopes!Attendees enjoy fine wine, gourmet food and the best in original, indie music surrounded by acres of vineyards and world class wineries. The Winery Music Awards competition is based in the beautiful city of Paso Robles in the heart of California's Central Coast, the fastest growing wine region in the country, and is wide open to original music artists from anywhere in the US and Canada, independent and unsigned with major record labels.Hosted by the hot & handsome, Andrew Firestone and adorable & spunky, Janie Terrazas, the 2007 Winery Music Awards featured artists from New York City, Portland, OR, Phoenix, AZ, San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles, CA.
