Salaams/Greetings, My name is Abdul-Karim a Muslim reggae deejay who is also a member of the Muslim music group Mecca2Medina, i am also a Ceo in Dawa Media Ltd a media company dedicated to showcasing Muslim Music and Art, as a member of Mecca2Medina i have contributed to many of the tracks that have been released over the past 10 years. I am now taking the big plunge of producing reggae tracks featuring Myself, some of the established, and up and coming Muslim reggae singers and deejays in the UK, North America, and the Rest of the World. The aim is exactly the same as Mecca2Medina, and Dawa Media (who both can be found on Myspace as well as our own websites) to produce music that enlightens the misinformed Muslim and Non-Muslim about the real Islam that the Prophet Muhammad(SAW) brought to mankind, and to contribute to making this planet a safe and peaceful world for all of Allah's creation. The M2M Story PT1 The M2M Story PT2My Boyz holding it down at the Jump Off!!!Disco Take-over (Rockers)

Influences: TBH we're coming from the foundation, there are so many inspirational individuals and ideas it would be an injustice to name names as it is so easy to miss out many. Obviously the biggest and most important is Allah(SWT), then the Prophet Muhammad(SAW). Some musical influences ranged from Curtis"the man" Mayfields with and, without the impressions, The whole Motown Thing from it's concept, Stax it's sound, it's Artists, it's Musicians, the whole Hip Hop thing from Cool Herc onward including the Breakdance, and Body-popping. In Jamaica the Ska, the Rocksteady, the Roots, the Dancehall, the Ragga, the Bashment...and on! In the UK, all the Pioneers of the industry, the Sound systems, the Deejays, the Singers, especially Lovers rock which in a way was a UK ting, the pirate radio's who made it easier for us to hear our music which we only got to hear at weekends through David Rodigan or, Tony Williams...The youths cannot imagine how good them have it today.
