About Me

The venture "SchwanSongs" is where Drakonis writes and publishes his own musical compositions, usually classically-based music of sweet longing and hope... music that is meant to transcend language and cultural differences and stir the soul of the listener. Drak's musical interests span a wide variety of musical genres, including, classical, world, ambient, electronica, and rock and blues.News: Schwansongs released his first Music Video on DVD, with a high-quality computer-generated (ray-traced) video animation that accompanies the electro-pop "Depeche Mode"-like original music, "Dance of the Technoids". Extra features on the video feature the guitarist Ian Beardsley doing a live performance, a 12 minute interview where the author gives some history, early storyboards, and describes the music-writing and computer-animation process for creating the video, and a sneak-peek trailer of the next upcoming music video, "Fractal Serenity." This video was available on-line from "The Lost Records" record store for $9.95, but is temporarily unavailable since the demise of the store (alternative publishing venues are in the works.) In the mean time, you can get a low-quality peek of the music video here (and others on my YouTube channel):
