Marc Ruzicka aka Markmechanik was born in Salzburg/Austria 1984. He made his initial contact with techno music in the legendary Loft Club (Salzburg) around 1999. The highly energetic vibe of this music sparked his interest. He started to buy records and soon he acquired two Technics 1210. Soon he began to play at several parties and clubs in his home town. Aged 20, he got hooked up with an Austrian party promoter (otherland productions) and he started as a resident DJ at parties like 'Gingko Club', 'Movida' and ''Frequency Festival'' all over Austria.
