About Me
Here we are!!! We're the Capital Sin, a punk-rock band born in the summer of 2005 from the ideas of the drummer Cristiano Pisani, and the fingers of the guitarists Totò Caputo and Marco Margarito, and the bassist Davide Memmi. The project (named Fuck TOTUM up until few time ago) was born just for fun, actually just for a b-day party...but then, a bit for interest, and a bit for a bet, the band kept going on, meeting up, thinking up new stuff, until the day of its first concert: the day we decided that this band needs to be heard, needs to be believed in, cuz nothing is better than things comin' out from the deepest part of your heart! We love having fun, we love making noise, we love making people who hear us enjoying as best as possible our shows, cuz we live for them and we get inspirantions for our own songs from them!!! Unfortunately, as almost any band in the world knows, troubles and problems are always behind the corner, and that's why in these 2 years, the beginning team was completed by Federico Monsellato, very good singer, with a very particular voice's timbre, but with no will to keep it real!!!! That's why in the summer 2006 the new singer, Antonio Monsellato, gave to the band a whole new and fresh style, with a sweet and, at the same time, angry tonality, full of punk-rock power. In the past months the band felt that it was time to make people hearing what we are, what we want, what we feel, but tha way to make it through brought us to another hard decision to take, and the bassist left the band. His substitute, Andrea Manni, although everything, made us ever more united, more like a family, where fights and good times crawl by day by day. At the moment, with a brand new demo cd come out in October, the Fuck Totum are ready to come back on stage, to punk-rock ur world, after a fuckin hard summer, we're ready to keep showing to the world how great our sound can be!!! Siamo i Capital SIN , una band punk-rock nata nell’estate del 2005 dalle idee del batterista Cristiano Pisani e le dita dei chitarristi Totò Caputo e Marco Margarito e del bassista Davide Memmi. Il progetto (nominato Fuck TOTUM fino a poco tempo fa) è nato per puro divertimento, in realtà giusto in occasione di una festa di compleanno... ma allora, un po’ per interesse e un po’ per scommessa, la band ha continuato ad andare avanti, ad incontrarsi, pensando nuovo roba, fino a che il giorno del primo concerto: quel giorno abbiamo deciso che questo gruppo deve essere sentito, ha bisogno di gente che creda in esso, perchè niente è meglio delle cose che provengono dalla parte più profonda del cuore! Amiamo divertirci, amiamo fare casino, amiamo fare in modo che la gente che ci sente possa godere come più non è possibile grazie alle nostre esibizioni, perchè vivamo per essa e da essa otteniamo l’ispirazione per le nostre canzoni!!! Purtroppo, come quasi tutte le bands nel mondo sanno, le difficoltà ed i problemi sono sempre dietro l’angolo ed ecco perchè durante questi 2 anni, la squadra d'inizio è stata completata da Federico Monsellato, cantante molto particolare, con un timbro vocale molto graffiante, ma senza la volontà di fare di un sogno la realtà !!!! Ecco perchè nell’Estate 2006 il nuovo cantante, Antonio Monsellato, ha dato al gruppo un nuovo e fresco stile, con tonalità dolci e, allo stesso tempo, arrabbiate, come il galateo del punk-rock richiede. Nei mesi passati la band ha ritenuto che era tempo di fare udire a quanta più gente possibile chi siamo, che cosa desideriamo, che cosa sentiamo, e per farlo siamo dovuti arrivare ad un'altra decisione dura, che ha alla fine portato alla separazione di Davide dalla band. Il suo sostituto, Andrea Manni, nonostante tutto, ci ha reso più uniti che mai, quasi come una famiglia, in cui le lotte dure ed i bei tempi si susseguono di giorno di giorno. Al momento, dopo un'estate estremamente dura per la vita del gruppo, con un brand new Demo Cd venuto fuori in ottobre, i Fuck Totum sono pronti per ritornare sui palchi, e per continuare a mostrare al mondo quanto grande il nostro sound può essere!!! Godetevi lo spettacolo e, da parte nostra, rimaniamo in attesa di vedervi alle nostre esibizioni!!!!
