D. Prince, (born Daniel Blacktin on January 2, 1993) started rapping at the age of eleven when his best friend started. D. Prince decided if his friend could pursue his dream then he could too. D. Prince recorded his first song at the age of fourteen. He constantly practiced with his music hoping one day to be heard. Discovered in the Bay Area of California by Kasland, D. Prince was asked to collaborate on a song with him. That is when D. Prince's amazing talent was heard by an executive with Post Oak Records and he was offered his first record deal at the age of fifteen. Since then D. Prince has been working hard at spreading his name across the entire nation with his music.
D. Prince is not here to be a "Lil' Wayne" or "Soulja Boy Tell 'Em". He Is here to be himself and make good music for the people. He is lyrically at the top of his age level and settles for nothing but perfection in his compositions. When he writes a song he takes time and effort and puts his heart into it. Many people have criticized D. Prince's music in positive and negative ways. "Hater's are nothing but motivation to me, because at the end of the day... I'm the one with the money." said D. Prince. D. Prince has always been "Money Hungry" and won't stop til he's full. His debut album "The Time Is Now" is scheduled to release in Summer 2009.
"I'm a Hip-Hop artist, I know I don't have six pack abs or huge biceps, but I'm good at what I do. I wish I could get the support from everybody without them judging me by my skin color or my size, because it's pointless. I got love for all my fans. Stay Up. One." - D. Prince
Let's face it, I'm not your typical rapper, matter fact, I'm not a rapper, I'm an emcee/producer/songwriter...I'm just all around talented. I am 100% serious about my career, so please do not ask for beats, songs, collaborations unless you are serious. Look in my blog regarding collaborations for more details. If you have a budget I will work with you. I know how it is, it's a recession.
