About Me
I am a 39 year old, fourth generation San Franciscan, Californian, and American, and though I haven't been proud of the latter two for quite some time, I am still proud of being from San Francisco even if I can't afford to live there anymore. I live in a nice condominium in San Bruno, have a good job as a manager at a fancy hotel, have my health (generally), a wonderful girlfriend, loving parents, great friends, and get to play my drums and watch my teams play ball often. I grew up in Pacifica and like to go back there every now and then and walk in the surf of Linda Mar Beach. I'm currently testing the outer bounds of my patience putting together a rock and roll musical with Xaviar, Knop, Brown, and Panigua called Abigail. I also play in a jazz quartet at various gigs in the area.I like, in no particular order except alphabetical: aardvarks, baseball, beer, crossing things off the "to do" list, enjoying my PadThai lunch with my book at Modern Thai on Polk at Bush St. during my lunch break on Tuesday, finishing 10 laps around the track and not having to limp home, The Forty Niners, getting up late, The Giants, good books, good movies, having a little "vino" and hiking up the Sneath Lane entrance to the Portola "Discovery" trail between San Bruno and Pacifica while listening to Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisted, jazz music, Jim the Cat, kissing my girlfriend's neck, Kruk Kuip and the Big Kahuna, Large strawberry margaritas at El Torritos, Murry the Cat, my mom and dad, my new television, the Oakland Zoo's sky ride, Ocean Beach, pizza, playing my drums, reading in bed on my days off until noon, rock and roll, rubbing my girlfriend's lower back, seeing my friends, sex, sleeping, sleeping in, the sound of a Vic Firth Peter Erskine ride stick striking one of my Zildjian K ride cymbals, staying in my pajamas all day long, stressing out Mike Xaviar, TIVO, The Warriors, watching John Butler play guitar, when I'm exercising somewhat regularly which usually is irregular, when Murry gets hyper, winning............I don't like (again, alphabetically); the (FORMER!!!!)administration of my country, aggressive drivers, alarm clocks, bills, carrying my drums, commercials, The Dallas Cowboys, the Dodgers, driving, Ebay, fundamentalism, hard work, laundry, listing the things I don't like, losing, mean people who care only for themselves, my financial situation, my neighbors, people who put their myspace page on "private", pickles, reality television, real slow drivers, reruns, traffic, violence, waking up early, war, work, zyzzyvas.
